Teddys Bears Picnic

With teddy bears in hand, hundreds of kids and their families turned out to enjoy an impressive looking inflatable theme park at the HB Asthma Society and Classic Hits Teddy Bears Picnic.

All day, all ride passes proved popular with ages as kids played all day as the parents were able to sit back and relax and enjoy the day.

Push Play Funday

When Funworks decided to run a huge event to encourage kids to ?€?push play?€™ an estimated 5000 people turned out over the two days to do just that . The Push Play Kids Funday drew a good cross section of people from young children through to older teens and families. The two days gave those involved a great chance to promote the ?€?push play?€™ lifestyle.

Bayleys Real Estate

Bayleys Real Estate managers show that even the big kids have what it takes to take on Funworks rides.

When Bayleys Real Estate needed something different for their managers conference Funworks came to the rescue with a fun team building challenge.

With teams pitted against each other they took on each challenge to see who the ulitmate winners were. A bit of healthy competetion created a fun way to create a unique team building opportunity.

Aquatica 08

With all things water what better than the Shark Attack Slide to make a big splash.

Aquatica 08 is a water themed party spanning over three days of Auckland Anniversary weekend.

With all things water the Shark Attack Slide was right at home on the Viaduct Basin. Running all day and evening the Shark looked great in the carnival area. Also in a family friendly area the Dragon Hide n Slide saw many kids getting swallowed up and having a great time bouncing around in the belly of this great ride.

Central Districts Cricket 20/20

With lots to do the Central Districts 20/20 match was a hit for the whole family.

Funworks created lots of fun at a Central Districts 20/20 cricket match at McLean Park in Napier. Funworks rides created a great opportunity for the whole family . The Foam Cannon, Titanic Advenutre and Iceberg Challenge, 3 Lane Bungy Challenge, Rocket Slide and Spiderman Bouncer were the perfect mix to entertain the kids while Mum and Dad enjoyed the match

During the drinks break the Hawkes Bay Rugby Union used the Bath Tub Racers to entertain the crowd with the Magpies getting pitted against each other in an entertaining Bath Tub race.

Hastings Blossom Parade 07

Cops on Loo Racers and robbers in get away baths were no match for the blossom parade.

Imagine a Cash Vault, sneaky robbers in getaway Bath Tubs Racers and crazy cops on their Loo Racers, lots of sound effects and crazy antics?€¦?€¦ The Hastings Blossom parade was a hit with spectators and was talked about long after the event had finished.

Funworks also featured on the Foam Cannon priate ship closing the parade with a pirate spraying the masses from his pirate ship.

Trucking For Child Cancer Hawkes Bay

When Trucking for Child Cancer Hawkes Bay had their yearly major fundraiser, Funworks was there to provide some great entertainment while the kids and parents waited for their truck rides. The Shark Attack Slide, Ironman Challenge and Jurassic Adventure provided that extra entertainment for all ages.

Nickelodeon "Nick takes over the beach"

Funworks joined in the sunshine, surf, slime and silliness when Nick took over the beach.

Each year Funworks joins Nickelodeon for Nick takes over the Beach. Part of the 2008 Billabong Grom Surf Series.

Funworks Wave Slide took center stage at the beach where kids had the chance to meet and greet the Nick stars as well as take part in a range of fun Nick-tivties including sack races, hoola hooping, tug-o-war, wishing wheels, plus many more! The Wave Slide added the perfect WOW factor to the Nick event.

New Zealand Cricket ODI Entertainment

The New Zealand Cricket ODI entertainment package was a hit with the punters

Each year Funworks plays a part in providing a kids entertainment “Funzone” at each ODI around the country, from Queenstown to Eden Park and everywhere in between. New Zealand Cricket?€™s aim is to provide the kids with an area to hang out and have some fun which the Mum and Dad’s enjoy the match. It’s a win/win as the activities are all provided free for the kids, and has proven very popular with everybody. Each year Funworks has new games and activities to keep the kids buzzed and entertained.

BP Team Challenge Day

A fun day of team challenges. We really had to “pump up” the fun for these guys!

When BP held a team challenge day, Funworks were ready to help pump up the team. The Funworks crew created an interactive zone in the concourse of the Westpac Stadium in Wellington. We also created some fun activities like the “Who said it” game which consisted of ten famous quotes on velcro speech bubbles, with a team member needing to stick the right quote to the right face of the famous person.

We also created a blind wine tasting, whereby team members tasted five varieties of wines and had to guess what each one was. Both activites were great fun, produced and branded especially for their event. All the team members participated in the various Funworks games stations, and from the cheers and hi-5?€™s it appeared that everybody enjoyed themselves. Big UP?€™s to BP!

Tremains Real Estate Client Fun Day

An awesome day for Tremain’s staff, clients and families

Each year Tremains Real Estate holds a gigantic Client Fun Day. The day involves a range of Funworks inflatable rides and games with Tremains providing a sausage sizzle, clowns and lolly scrambles. This is a fun creative way for Tremains staff to interact with clients and their families, providing a day that the children won’t forget in a hurry.

The What Now team visited Napier’s Marine Paradise, and worked with Funworks to provide the fun for the live TV2 Sunday morning show. Thousands of kids pulled their parents out of bed to enjoy the Rock ‘em Sock ‘em, Ironman, Kiddy Grand Prix, Big Ball Soccer, Loo Racers and foam cannon directed across the crowds by What Now host Tamati. Hawkes Bay kids were the envy of every other across the country!

Mastertrade have discovered a unique way of boosting morale and encouraging staff to get straight back into the thick of things following the Christmas – New Year break. Branch Manager John approached us with an idea to pit clients against the ‘Gun’ MasterTrade staff in a battle of skill, balance and staying power; with this in mind the inaugural ‘Mastertrade Grand Prix Loo Race’ was unleashed with much hilarity.
